LAKE PLEASANT - Boaters out on Lake Pleasant Thursday afternoon dealt with some intense weather as a giant dust storm made its way across the Valley causing damaging to multiple boats.
"There was fire trucks, there was ambulances, there was everything up here trying to get people out of the water," said one woman.
A sunken pontoon boat and mangled tents were the remnants of Thursdays storm, however, boaters said the windy conditions pushed a lot of the boats from the docks into the nearby rocks.
Reports also indicate that one of the two docks suffered damage and became in operable as boaters rushed to get out of the water before the storm hit.
"It's all dinged up from the rocks," said another boat owner who was inspecting his pontoon for damage. Part of his boat has cracked and water was leaking out of the pontoons that help to keep it afloat.
