Peoria police are asking for the public’s help in finding two armed robbers who held up a Safeway Store on Tuesday.
Investigators said surveillance video captured one of the robbers entering the Safeway near Cactus Road and 83rd Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. and approaching the teller window at the U.S. Bank inside the store.
Video also shows the man handing a note to the teller while another robber acted as a lookout, police said. The teller told officers that the note demanded money so the teller complied and then the robbers left.
No injuries were reported
