LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ - A Valley school bus driver who was under fire for turning the air conditioning off with 50 children on board has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Parents reportedly complained to school officials earlier this month about the incident.
A spokesperson for the Litchfield Elementary School District said air conditioning on the bus was only off for three to five minutes three different times, and the driver did it to get the students' attention and settle them down.
Eight students were suspended for cursing at the driver.
School officials said the bus driver did not violate any state or district policies.
