Firefighters are combating flames after two homes caught on fire in Litchfield Park.
According to Rural/Metro Fire, a man living in a mobile home park smelled smoke and realized a shed was on fire. He called 911 and went outside.
The fire spread to one mobile home and a nearby power pole. The fire caused lines to fall onto a second mobile home, causing it to also ignite.

135th Avenue was closed in that area while Rural/Metro and Phoenix fire crews worked to put out hot spots.
Authorities determined the two mobile homes were lost in the fire. An initial review points to a water heater and electrical box inside the shed as the origin for the fire, according to Rural/Metro.
Officials said no injuries were reported.
