The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a driver who struck a pedestrian, leaving the man with serious injuries.
The victim was found near Camelback Road east of El Mirage Road around 3 a.m. Friday.
According to MCSO, he was walking on the south side of the road in or near the curb lane when he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound. The car is described as a black 2007-2009 Mercedes Benz GL-450 or GL-550 SUV.
MCSO said the pedestrian was thrown to the shoulder of the roadway and the driver of the SUV fled the scene.
The victim sustained numerous broken bones but is expected to recover from his injuries.
The vehicle that fled the scene may have damage to the passenger side of the car, including the headlight, frnt bumper, windshield, and side panels.
