LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ - It's springtime and the population at the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium in the west Valley is growing.
Arizona Highways checked out two of the newest babies in the zoo's nursery, a jaguar named Hiccup and an African blue duiker named Pixie.
As they're being hand fed and raised, the animals learn to trust their trainers and handlers.
"That's the great thing about hand raising these animals, because they do learn to trust their handlers and we can do a lot of training," Education Specialist Kristy Morcom says.
That allows the handlers and trainers to provide better care for their growing wildlife family.
Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium is located at 16501 W. Northern Avenue in Litchfield Park.
