A dairy in Laveen is taking action and giving back to the community it's called home since the 1950s.

ABC15 Mornings set out to see how even their smallest bottles of milk will make a big difference for patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Cattle may be one of Arizona's five "C's" but right now the cows at Danzeisen Dairy have a pretty unique job: producing milk that benefits PCH.

"Having a resources like that, as a parent and a person in this community, sometimes we take it for granted," said General Manager Kevin Danzeisen. "If you have something wrong with your kid you have a specialist there waiting for you, literally minutes away."

Their products are now available in 100 stores across Arizona and for all of February, a portion of every single sale will go to PCH. The decision was inspired by a family friend who battled Mitochondrial Disease.

"They gave her about a year to live but she passed away at the age of four," Danzeisen said. "What PCH did for her and for her family was absolutely amazing."
