A Laveen woman is accused of tampering with employee accounts of former co-workers at the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.

Court documents show that 49-year-old Susan Marie Rall was convicted last year of stealing more than $34,000 from the state of Arizona by altering purchase orders and issuing false requisition orders.

Several times during the course of that trial, the now ex-ADEQ employee accessed accounts of her supervisor and others where she, "altered damaged, deleted, or destroyed data," related to the accounts of at least six different people.

Rall was sentenced to probation and restitution of the $34,000 regarding the theft.

Rall commented in her probation report that, "she snapped after working in a hostile work environment." She told the court she wouldn't do anything like this again but was actually already getting into ADEQ files, even being so bold as to access the files on the day of her sentencing.

Rall is now facing 14 counts of computer tampering.
