Suspect in Goodyear bank robbery sought

GOODYEAR, AZ - Authorities are looking for a bank robbery suspect involved in an incident that occurred in Goodyear in early March.

According to Silent Witness, a suspect entered the Canyon State Credit Union building on Dysart Road at 2 p.m. on March 6.

The suspect reportedly gave the teller a note that demanded money before the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect left the bank in a small red car, described as possibly being a Scion or Nissan Cube.

The suspect is said to have went to the nearby Lowe's store where he discarded his sweatshirt.

Police are asking Lowe's employees, witnesses or anyone who may have been near the Lowe's Garden Center for more information.

The suspect is described as a black male with short dark hair, standing about 6'2'' and weighing 200 pounds.The suspect was wearing a red jacket at the time of the incident.
