A kidnapping victim is speaking out about her days in captivity.

Back in September, police say Joseph Hetzel kidnapped his ex-girlfriend Virginia Parisafter she left work in Solvang California.

Paris talked to Santa Barbara station KEYT about her experience saying Hetzel had been bothering her at work.

"He came to my work a few days before -- like five times in one day-- he was very aggressive," Paris said.

On September 1st, Hetzel kidnapped Paris.

Hetzel then took Paris against her will to Arizona. She was spotted at a Starbucks in Goodyear, off McDowell and Litchfield Road.

"I remember being in a bathroom and asking a lady for her cell phone and she said no. I got really upset and cried really hard. A lot of times he would follow me in the bathroom in the gas stations or wherever, and he would make sure I wouldn't talk to people," she explained.

From there, Paris says Hetzel took her to Las Vegas, where he forced her to marry him.

Paris was finally able to get help at the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino in Henderson, Nevada.

Hetzel is awaiting extradition back to Santa Barbara County to face charges in the case.
