A Goodyear man has been arrested on child pornography charges after an investigation that lasted for over a year.

According to court paperwork, 46-year-old Todd Ockenfels was arrested recently at his home near Yuma Road and Cotton Lane.

Documents show the investigation eventually tracked multiple files of child pornography to a computer at Ockenfels’ home.

When FBI agents served a search warrant at the home, court paperwork shows there were six children inside at the time. Ockenfels denied downloading the files when questioned.

A computer and multiple thumb drives were found in a search of the guest house of the home, where Ockenfels admitted he had been staying. One of the thumb drives had approximately 400 video files and 700 images, most of which contained child pornography according to court paperwork. Ockenfels admitted to being the sole owner of the computer but denied that he or anyone else in the home had downloaded the files.
