2nd suspect arrested for June 17 Goodyear murder

GOODYEAR, AZ - A second suspect has been arrested for the June 17 murder of an 18-year-old Goodyear man.

On July 15, Goodyear police SWAT officers served a search warrant at a home on West Zuni in Goodyear where they found and arrested 21-year-old Mitchell Avery Binion, also known as Andrew Binion.

He was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder and is being held on a $1 million bond.

Last Friday, 23-year-old Andrew Moering was taken into custody for the murder of 18-year-old Davis Justin Jurado.

Police said Jurado was killed in an apparent drug deal that turned into a robbery.

When police took Moering into custody in Phoenix they found he had a one-way Greyhound bus ticket in an apparent attempt to flee the state.

Moering is also being held on a $1 million cash bond for first-degree murder.
