GLENDALE, AZ - Glendale police say a distracted driver could be to blame for hitting a 19-year-old woman at a bus stop Tuesday night.
Police spokesman Sean Gaston said the accident happened around 7 p.m near 59th and Olive avenues.
Gaston the woman was hit by the car after a crash pushed the vehicle into her bus stop.
Authorities said the woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries and is expected to be OK.
According to Gaston, alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor and police believe the driver may have been preoccupied by something else.
