GLENDALE, AZ - Glendale Police Vehicular Crimes detectives are looking for relatives of a pedestrian who was killed Thursday while crossing a busy street.

Police have been looking for David Digildo's family and have not been able to find relatives in Phoenix. Digildo is a white man in his 50s and believed to be homeless, according to Sgt. Jay O'Neill.

If anyone knows Digildo or any relatives, contact Glendale police at 623-930-3000.

O'Neill said that at about 7 p.m., Digildo, was walking across Peoria Avenue near 43rd Avenue, not in a crosswalk, when he was struck by a Jeep. Digildo was taken to the hospital where he died.

A man in his 30s and his teenage daughter were in the Jeep at the time of the crash. Impairment and speed were not an issue, O'Neill said.
