PD: Glendale sexual assault suspect spotted at Phoenix Walmart

GLENDALE, AZ - A man suspected of sexually assaulting a minor has been spotted at a Phoenix Walmart, according to a report from the Glendale Police Department.

Glendale police began searching for the suspect after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at a car wash  near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road on Sept. 29.

At approximately 10:10 p.m. on Oct. 9, the suspect was spotted with another adult male at the Walmart off of 36th Street and Thomas Road, according to the report. 

When individuals who recognized the suspect attempted to contact security and police, the suspect quickly fled the store with his companion before Phoenix police arrived on scene.

In the Walmart surveillance video, the sexual assault suspect had not changed in appearance from the initial release, according to the report. 

The suspect is described as a 6 foot tall Hispanic male around 27 years old with a thin build and a mole under his right eye. He was also reported to be driving a silver-colored Toyota FJ cruiser with a white roof and black roof rack.

His adult male companion is described as a Hispanic-looking male around 23 to 27 years old. According to the report, he is 6 foot tall, weighs 180 to 190 pounds and has no facial hair.

Glendale police detectives are still actively working this case and are seeking the community's help identifying the suspect as well as the adult male he was seen with.
