GLENDALE, AZ - Glendale police are investigating after a car plowed into a school bus full of kids Tuesday afternoon.
Glendale police spokeswoman Tracey Breeden said the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. near 67th Avenue and Beardsley Road.
Breeden said the bus was at a stop facing northbound with a car stopped directly behind it. Another vehicle traveling northbound did not come to a complete stop and rear-ended the car behind the bus pushing it into the bus.
Young said there were 20 kids on board the bus when the accident happened.
Air15 video showed fire crews with a stretcher nearby in case anyone needed to be transported to the hospital, but luckily, Breeden said there were no major injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. Breeden said they do not believe impairment was involved.
