GLENDALE, AZ - A mother and her two young children are homeless after a fire sparked in their home early Tuesday morning.
The home, located near 62nd Avenue and Missouri is likely going to be a total loss.
Fire officials on the scene tell ABC15 that the family was able to get out early and was not injured.
It is unclear what caused the fire but cluttered conditions inside the home likely fueled the fire and made it more complicated for firefighters to attack.
The family also had cats, dogs, and birds in the home. Fire officials are still trying to account for all the pets.
Sadly, the family was already facing financial difficulties when this fire started.
Fire officials are connecting them with assistance.
