A Glendale father and his 10-month-old son have been safely located after they were reported missing on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Glendale police, 32-year-old Ramon Salas left his parents' house near 51st and Glendale avenues around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday. Salas had his infant son, Abraham Salas, with him at the time.

Police say he was supposed to pick up his girlfriend -- the child's mother -- at work in East Phoenix but he never arrived or heard from.

Glendale police said that Salas and the child were found near 3rd Avenue and Indian School Road in good health on Friday morning. Salas had dangerous drugs on him at the time they were located and was arrested for drugs and endangerment to the child.

The child's mother has since been reunited with the child. She will reportedly not file charges against Salas.
