GLENDALE, AZ - Glendale police have raided a business where they found what they're calling an illegal drug lab.
Police say detectives executing a search warrant seized thousands of vials of material believed to be illegal synthetic marijuana known as "spice" as well as large containers of bulk materials for making synthetic drugs.
According to police, the raid Tuesday largely resulted from information received from state tax officers who performed a routine inspection of the business, Pronto Mart.
The tax officers told police they saw what appeared to manufacturing taking place in back rooms of the business.
Police say they're asking for felony charges of drug possession and manufacturing to be filed against the store manager.
No telephone is listed in the name of Pronto Mart.
