Glendale police and FBI looking to identify credit union armed robbery suspect with wig, mask

GLENDALE, AZ - A man who robbed a credit union in Glendale after showing his weapon Thursday is being sought by the FBI and Glendale police officers.

According to the FBI, officials are trying to determine the identity of the man who entered Arizona State Credit Union at 8285 W. Union Hills in Glendale, showed the teller a black semi-automatic handgun and fled the scene on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as being of medium build, around 5 feet 6 inches tall, between 160 and 170 pounds and in his mid 30s.

He was last seen wearing a tan shirt, brown pants and a black cap worn backwards.

At the time of the robbery he was wearing black gloves, a full flesh colored mask and a dirty blonde matted wig, according to officials.

The man is said to have left the credit union and traveled westbound by foot.
