Glendale girl, Alyssa Jarome, gets new special needs tricycle after previous one stolen

GLENDALE, AZ - Weeks after somebody stole a little girl's special needs tricycle from her house in Glendale, she's riding again!

ABC15 was there when the brand new trike was delivered to Alyssa Jarome, 6, Thursday afternoon.

It came from a non-profit called "The Suzy Foundation " which reached out to help after our initial story aired.

The trike helps Alyssa be more independent, since she can't walk on her own.

Complete strangers were moved by Alyssa's story.

Alyssa's mom Shari set up an account  for people who want to help and so far, thousands of dollars have been donated.

Shari says all of the money raised is going back to the Suzy Foundation so they can help other families down the road.
