GLENDALE, AZ - Four people are recovering in the hospital after an early morning crash in Glendale.
The crash happened near 99th Avenue and Glendale Avenue around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Glendale police said a white 4-door sedan with a 27-year-old male driver and two passengers inside were traveling westbound on Glendale Avenue. A grey 4-door sedan driven by a 25-year-old man was traveling eastbound when it crossed into the opposing lane and collided with the white vehicle at New River Road.
All four people involved were taken to the hospital. The three adults in the white sedan have non-life threatening injuries. The driver in the grey sedan has life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said impairment is a factor on the part of the driver in the grey sedan.
Glendale Avenue from 99th Avenue to Glen Harbor Boulevard was closed for several hours on Tuesday morning.
