GLENDALE, AZ - A family dog is being credited with alerting two residents that their house was on fire.
Fire crews responded to the house fire Friday morning near 59th Avenue and Cactus to find the entire house up in flames, said Mike Young with Glendale Fire.
Young said the home is a complete loss, however, the two adults and two dogs were able to escape the home without injury.
Officials said one of the dogs apparently barked until the adults woke up and became aware of the fire.
No other details were released.
