GLENDALE, AZ - An 18-year-old driver hit four vehicles and sent three individuals to the hospital when he drove in the wrong direction, according to Glendale officials.

The Glendale Police and Fire departments responded to 75th Avenue south of Glendale Avenue after a silver sedan was traveling northbound in a southbound lane around 7:45 Tuesday morning.

Officials said the sedan was traveling in the wrong direction and sent two women, a 26-year-old and a 37-year-old, to the hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries. Two children were also in one of the cars that was hit, but they were not injured.
