GLENDALE, AZ - A mother who lost her 9-year-old after a shooting accident in Tonopah is asking for financial help through a car wash fundraiser in Glendale Sunday.
Starting at 10 a.m., a car wash was held at Double Down Tattoo in Glendale in hopes of raising money for the family.
Double Down Tattoo is located at 4738 W. Glendale Avenue, near the corner of 48th and Glendale avenues.
The 9-year-old died a day after being accidentally hit with a stray bullet while shooting targets and hunting in Tonopah with a group.
A 15-year-old is said to be the one who fired the bullet that killed the boy, but the shooting was reportedly accidental.
