GLENDALE, AZ - A study will be released Thursday that shows the disturbing link between the Super Bowl and sex trafficking.
The study conducted by the McCain Institute and ASU researchers tracked sex crimes during this year's Super Bowl.
There were nearly 400 arrests during this year's Super Bowl.
The study provides some key information for local agencies working to get ahead of the problem for next year as Glendale prepares to host the Super Bowl.
Local agencies are working with the FBI in a task force. Senator John McCain's wife, Cindy McCain, has been heading up the effort nationwide to curb this kind of trend and save young girls.
The entire study will be released Thursday.
