EL MIRAGE, AZ - A San Tan Valley man is facing charges after he was found driving on a suspended license with a blood alcohol level nearly four times the legal limit, according to officials.
Court documents show 36-year-old Justin Matthew Holze was pulled over near Grand Avenue and Thunderbird Road in El Mirage after an officer witnessed him driving about 5 miles per hour and swerving from lane to lane.
Court documents show Holze did not have his hands on the wheel and eventually hit a guard rail.
According to police, the responding officer had to knock on the driver's side window before Holze realized an officer even stopped him.
Authorities say officers had to remove Holze from the car because he couldn't get out of the vehicle by himself.
When police went into Holze's car they found an open bottle of vodka within arm's reach of the driver's seat.
Court documents show Holze's blood-alcohol content was 0.377 percent. The legal limit in Arizona is 0.08 percent.
Holze has two prior DUI convictions from October 2010 and August 2012.
Holze is facing a number of charges, including extreme DUI.
