A 55-year-old Arizona man is accused of molesting a young girl.
The girl told police that Glenn Jack Engel, of El Mirage, began touching her when she was six years old, but that most of it happened when she was 9 and 10, according to court documents.
Engel was interviewed by detectives and reportedly admitted to the allegations. He told police, according to the report, that when the girl asked for something, he would make her touch his penis first.
When asked why he would do this, he told the detectives that the victim "liked it" and that "it would take his mind off of other things that were going on in his life at the time," according to the report.
He was booked into jail on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of molestation of a child and a count of sexual abuse.
