PHOENIX - Dozens of tow trucks were part of funeral procession for a tow truck driver who was shot to death earlier this month.
Michael Salidas was shot in Buckeye while on the job. The 49-year old was engaged to be married and was an Army Vet.
The suspect, Andrew Rael stole his truck after the shooting. The truck was later found in Goodyear.
Police said the next day Rael shot and killed a convenience store clerk in Glendale after getting into an argument with him.
Rael was eventually shot and killed after a valley-wide pursuit and shoot out with DPS on US 60 in Tempe.
Salidas worked for Quik Pik towing for about a year.
The tow truck procession started at 9:00 a.m. at the company's offices near 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road and will convoy to the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
