Buckeye fire control two-alarm structure fire

BUCKEYE, AZ - Firefighters have controlled a two-alarm structure fire in Buckeye that started early Wednesday morning.

Flames were first spotted coming from a building near the intersection of Maricopa 85 and Miller Road around 3 a.m. Firefighters were able to gain control of the fire after almost 3 hours.

Firefighters are not sure what started the fire but smoke can be seen from all over Buckeye.

Most of the flames were inside of the Buckeye Rentals rental business.

The business rents farming and construction equipment.

No injuries have been reported so far.

MC 85 is closed in the area. There is no estimated time it will reopen.
