A Silver Alert for a missing Avondale woman was canceled Sunday, and family says she has been found.
Maria Ornelas, 76 years old, went missing from her residence at Rio Santa Fe Apartments near McDowell Road and Rancho Sante Fe Boulevard around 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
She was reportedly found, however, by family at a park sometime before Sunday morning. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation but is expected to be ok.
