MCSO: Woman crashes car after beating boyfriend

PHOENIX - Officials are searching for the woman who allegedly beat her boyfriend with a stick in Phoenix.

According to MCSO, the woman left the scene before officers arrived.

MCSO said the woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a canal near 99th Avenue and Thomas just before midnight on Monday night.

After crashing into the canal, the vehicle caught fire. The woman got out of the burning vehicle and is still on the loose.

A description of the suspect is not known at this time.

The condition of the victim has not been released.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
