Firefighters are fighting a large fire in Avondale.
Multiple agencies, including units from Avondale, Goodyear, Rural Metro, Tolleson and Phoenix, have responded to what the Avondale Fire Department said is a vacant packaging plant that used to store produce but has been unused for some time. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the building used to be part of the Greer Farms operation.
Officials said the structure, near 107th Avenue and Buckeye Road, will be a total loss.
Video submitted by ABC15 viewers showed at least one structure and the surrounding land on fire.

The flames are not threatening other buildings, firefighters said.
Aerial ladders spraying water onto the fire from above were "very effective" in getting the fire under control, according to Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Ardell Deliz.
Authorities determined the building did not have power and were working through how the fire could have started. A Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesman said the office's arson unit would be handling the investigation.
