Power back after water leak causes outage at ASU Tempe campus

TEMPE, AZ - Crews have restored power at Arizona State University's Tempe campus after a Friday morning outage.

ASU spokeswoman Sharon Keeler said a water leak damaged electrical systems at the central plant, leaving 20 to 30 percent of the campus buildings without power.

Crews were able to repair the outage, getting power back on at the affected buildings around 10 a.m.

The school is currently on winter break.
