Tempe police arrest suspect in deadly stabbing near McClintock and Apache

The Tempe Police Department says a suspect is in custody after a deadly stabbing that happened Tuesday night. 

Police say the stabbing happened near McClintock Drive north of Apache Boulevard around 10 p.m.

The victim, 24-year-old Joshua Romero, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the stabbing happened during a family fight in the parking lot of a gas station. Police say the suspect, 21-year-old Jordan Robert Morales, is the victim's half-brother. 

Morales was booked into jail on one count of second-degree murder.
