Tempe police looking for man wanted in connection to three Tempe bank robberies

TEMPE, AZ - Police are looking for the public’s help to find a suspect connected to three separate bank robberies in Tempe in the past week, officials say.

On April 18, the suspect first robbed a Chase Bank near Southern Avenue and 48th Street, according to officials. Two hours later, he robbed the Wells Fargo near Baseline Road and Rural Road.

Almost a week later, the man returned to the Chase Bank near Southern Avenue and 48th Street and robbed it again, according to police.

He was wearing different clothing for each robbery and fled the scenes on foot, police said.

The suspect is described by police as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130-140 pounds, late teens to mid-20s, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is pictured in the photos above.
