TEMPE, AZ - Police are asking for the public's help locating a man who stole a piece of jewelry worth over $10,000 from Arizona Mills Mall Monday night.
Tempe police spokesman Michael Pooley said the robbery happened around 5 p.m. at the Capri Jewelry store.
Pooley said the suspect showed a black handgun and demanded a specific piece of jewelry from the clerk.
The suspect then grabbed the jewelry and fled the store. Employees then called police.
When officers arrived, they searched for the suspect, but were unable to find him.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, thin build and 6 feet, 2 inches to 6 feet, five inches tall.
