TEMPE, AZ - Tempe officers are beefing up patrols to crack down on underage drinking along Mill Avenue after a college student fell to her death last week.
James Waldo, a bouncer at Casey Moore Oyster House in Tempe, says he's seen all the tricks underage drinkers try to pull, from obtaining a fake ID to coming back a different night and hoping there is a new bouncer at the door.
Restaurants have a powerful resource that help them prevent underage drinking: a book that tells what each ID from every state and country should look like.
"When it doubt, check it out," he says.
If you're caught with a fake ID? The bouncers will usually take it.
