Police: Vehicle in deadly Tempe shooting found, John Brazel still at-large, driving stolen truck

TEMPE,. AZ - Tempe police said it has located the vehicle allegedly driven by a man wanted in connection to a shooting at an apartment complex earlier this week.

Sgt. Mike Pooley said 33-year-old John Brazel's white Tahoe was located Wednesday evening in the orange groves located at Thomas Road and Val Vista in Mesa.

Pooley said authorities now believe Brazel is driving a stolen silver Dodge Ram Dually Truck with a Washington license plate, B83943K. The vehicle was stolen out of Pinal County.

Brazel has been named a person of interest after 33-year-old Charla Faust was found dead and a neighbor injured after a shooting outside an apartment complex near Rural and Guadalupe roads.

Authorities said Brazel and the woman were arguing prior to the shooting. A neighbor tried to intervene and was also shot. The neighbor was taken to a local hospital. Brazel fled after the shooting.

Police said Brazel is considered armed and extremely dangerous. If you see him or his vehicle, please call 911.

Official do not know Brazel's current location, however, he is being actively sought by authorities, including US Marshals.
