TEMPE, AZ - Police say a package that prompted an advisory at Arizona State University Wednesday morning was later discovered to be a student's school project.
ASU and Tempe police responded to the parking lot at University Drive and Mill Avenue after a box was left unattended on top of a kiosk. An ASU police bomb dog and Tempe police bomb technicians were also called in to assist.
ASU tweeted an advisory warning anyone nearby to avoid the area as crews investigated.

ASU police tell ABC15 through the course of the investigation it was discovered the package was part of a student's project for school.
