TEMPE, AZ - A man accused of setting a series of fires in Tempe told ABC15 he was so drunk he barely remembers most of the night.
On Sunday, Tempe police arrested Cody Nimrod, 26, for starting seven fires to multiple dumpsters and a car while walking home from the bars.
"I think there was alcohol involved. I think there was Jager involved," said Nimrod.
Nimrod said he remembered starting two small brush fires to keep his hands warm, but claimed he had no idea he was blamed for several more.
Police said they caught Nimrod setting one of the fires.
When asked how he could be sure he did not set any other fires, Nimrod said "I do not feel comfortable answering that."
