TEMPE, AZ - Baseball fans looking to find a way to Angels or Cubs Spring Training games will now have another option: the Mill Avenue District Trollies will offer free rides to and from downtown Tempe to Tempe Diablo and Cubs Park stadiums.
This year, the trolley added two new trollies for the Cubs games in addition to its previous Angels routes, according to Downtown Tempe Community officials.
Fans will be picked up and dropped off at the northwest corner of Mill Avenue and 5th Street in front of Lotions and Potions. The trolley will drop them off right in front of the stadiums for Spring Training games.
The trollies will start their baseball routes two hours before the start of games until 30 minutes after games, running every 20 minutes.
In addition, trolley rides can park for free at the Hayden Square and City Hall garages if they get their parking ticket validated at the trolley stop.
Trolley rides begin Feb. 27 and go until March 27.
