Tempe firefighters spent over an hour Friday trying to gain control of a truck that caught fire.

Air15 video showed parts of the charred vehicle burning and foam suppressant surrounding it.

Fire officials said something kept igniting the leaking gasoline, but they were not sure what the source was and that the foam was not effective.

The fire was eventually put out.

Tempe police spokesman Mike Pooley said the vehicle was not stolen and that officers have been in contact with the owner. They do not believe foul play is involved.
