TEMPE, AZ - Police are putting in extra hours this weekend to keep you safe on the roads.
They're looking for drivers who take their celebration of Cinco de Mayo a little too far and wind up drinking and driving.
Police say it's a busy weekend with celebrations going on around the valley, from Arizona State University to several high school proms.
They urge you to find a safe way to get home if you're drinking, like finding a designated driver, calling a cab or using public transportation.
Otherwise, if you get pulled over driving drunk on the roads, you could wind up at a mobile DUI command post or land in jail.
Police will be out on the roads again on Sunday, conducting more DUI patrols across the Valley.
