Caught on video: Two men stealing tires from car in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ - Police officers are looking for two suspects captured on video last week stealing the tires off a parked car.

Two men took all four tires from a car on Wednesday, Aug. 20, using a jack to lift it while it was parked near the owner’s back door, according to the Tempe Police Department. The car was damaged because of the way the two suspects left it.

They fled in a Toyota Tacoma with an extended cab, according to police. A surveillance camera  next to the car caught the 26-minute-long theft.

Police described the two suspects as white or Hispanic. One suspect had dark receding hair, wore a full-sleeve tattoo on his right arm and was about 6 feet tall with average build. The other suspect had a thin mustache, thin build, tattoos on the back of his neck and a full-sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

Anyone with information about the theft should call Tempe Police at 480-350-8311.
