ASU vs. Stanford: Students gearing up for big game against Cardinal

TEMPE, AZ - Thousands of Arizona State University students lined up outside the Sun Devil Stadium to snag tickets for Saturday's game.

This Saturday, ASU will play the Stanford Cardinal at home, after beating the UofA Saturday night.

Senior Preston Pyle waited in line to buy a ticket. "We're all excited here," said Pyle. It's a great energy."

ASU is selling 8,000 student tickets for $12. As of Monday morning, ASU sold over 3,400 student tickets.

The Sun Devil stadium holds over 71,000 seats.

Pyle says, "I think we have a good chance playing here at home. I mean we haven't lost a home game with Coach Graham."

If ASU wins the team will head to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

The last time, ASU made it to the tournament of Roses was January 1, 1997
