ASU student Andrew Kent pleads guilty to endangerment after girls burned at fraternity party

TEMPE, AZ - A 21-year-old Arizona State University student pleaded guilty to endangerment, a misdemeanor, according to documents.

Andrew Kent, who is suspected of injuring two girls at a fraternity party by throwing a bottle of alcohol in a fire, is reportedly scheduled for sentencing May 30.

In April 2013, Kent pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of causing serious burns to the girls.

He reportedly threw alcohol on the fire, causing the fire to spread to the two girls.

One of the girls injured was an 18-year-old ASU student and the other was a 17-year-old who was visiting and attended the party.

Kent was arrested in March 2013 and faced two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of endangerment.
