Arizona State University is pushing back the next phase of construction at Sun Devil Stadium after fundraising success, allowing even bigger plans for the renovation.

According to a Sun Devil Athletics email sent out to fans and ticket holders, the new developments mean a pause in work now and more long-term work for the stadium.

The message from ASU mentions adding "terrific amenities to the fan experience, create an unprecedented solarization of the stadium and increase the exciting events at the stadium throughout the year."

Work on the west side premium areas, student-athlete facility and north end zone will be finished after this season's final game.

Sun Devil Athletics will be postponing the stadium-wide reseat until 2018. In other words, season ticket holders on the east side of the stadium will not be affected until then.
