The Arizona Department of Transportation says the Loop 101 was delayed southbound Monday afternoon after a serious crash.
The Department of Public Services says a vehicle crashed over the median wall and into southbound traffic causing the crash. At least five vehicles were involved.
Traffic cameras showed all lanes blocked with traffic only getting by on the shoulder for several minutes. All lanes, however, have since reopened.
DPS says there are injuries on the scene, but details have not been released yet.
