San Tan Valley man Job Anthony Sanchez gets 5 life sentences in child sexual abuse case

FLORENCE, AZ - A San Tan Valley man has been sentenced to five consecutive life sentences for molesting and sexually abusing a young girl, according to authorities.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says that in March 2012 the mother of a 10-year-old girl told authorities that her daughter had been inappropriately touched by a family friend.

The victim told investigators about several years of sexual abuse that had been committed by 37-year-old Job Anthony Sanchez.

A search warrant was served at the Sanchez home in San Tan Valley where detectives recovered a number of items including video tapes and digital media that Sanchez made of himself molesting and sexually abusing the girl.

Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center, held on a no bond status.

Sanchez was indicted on 18 counts with charges of child molestation, sexual conduct with a minor, exploitation of a minor, all of which were dangerous crimes against children because the victim was under the age of 12.

On January 18, 2013 a jury convicted Sanchez on all counts.

Last week the Pinal County Superior Court sentenced Sanchez to five consecutive life sentences with an additional 181-year sentence for the crimes.

Authorities say he has no possibility of parole.
